CHANTELL HASKINS-GANDY, CHAIRPERSON

The Scholarship Committee is responsible for establishing, maintaining, recruiting, and managing Scholarships for graduating seniors of Fairmont Heights High School (FHHS). We meet via ZOOM on the 1st Monday of each month and report to the Fairmont Heights High School Alumni Association Executive Committee and the General Alumni body at the Monthly Meetings held at the Cedar Heights Community Center.

DENISE HASKINS, CHAIRPERSON

The Historical Committee is responsible for researching and obtaining historical records of Fairmont Heights High School (FHHS) and the organization.  We meet via ZOOM on the 1st Wednesday of each month and report our findings to the Executive Committee and the General Alumni body at the Monthly Meetings held at the Cedar Heights Community Center.

MIGUEL “MICKEY” MCCLOUD, CHAIRPERSON

The Memorial Service Committee has the very important responsibility of planning the Memorial Service to honor our Alumni, Faculty, Family, and Friends who have BUZZED AWAY each year. The Service is held on the 1st Saturday in December each year at the New Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, 7501 Walker Mill Drive, Capitol Heights, MD 20743, Rev. Robert R. Johnson, Jr., presiding.

Joseph Tolson, CHAIRPERSON

Five (5) Nomination Committee members from the General Body, will be appointed by the President, FHHSAA to serve on the 2024 Nominating Committee two (2) months before the election year. The Nominating Committee members will begin gathering nominations from members who are in good standing with the FHHS Alumni Association for elections.

PATRICIA WAITERS, CHAIRPERSON

The FHHSAA Membership Committee primary goal is to develop the membership base and engage alumni of to provide financial and committee support to the organization. The Membership Committee is a great way to get involved with the Alumni Association and the community we serve.  The Membership Committee help members develop connections that ensure the organization runs smoothly.

The Athletic Hall of Fame is an opportunity to recognize, support, and celebrate Hornets forever.  The Fairmont Heights High School Alumni Association (FHHSAA) Hall of Fame will honor, celebrate, preserve, and promote the accomplishments of students who have participated in interscholastic sports and student activities at Fairmont Heights High School (FHHS).
